Amazigh flag

What it represents

The Amazigh flag represents Amazigh people and identity across North Africa and the diaspora. The Amazigh World Congress adopted it in 1997. It is a cultural flag shared across communities, rather than the national flag of one country.

How to recognize it

Look for blue, green and yellow horizontal bands crossed by a red ⵣ, the Tifinagh letter for Z. The central letter is the clearest feature to remember.
